This Gemling Legionnaire fights with grenades thrown from a crossbow, led by Explosive Grenade, and follows Lolcohol's current Mobalytics guide for patch 0.5.5. Lolcohol made it a personal starter for the Forbidden Rites event and played it solo self-found from Act I through to Arbiter of Divinity, summing it up as easy to play, smooth and durable.
It is aimed at newer players who want a safe start to a league, and at players who intend to farm currency with it before moving on to a pricier Gemling build. Nine setups follow Lolcohol's own order: Act I to Act IV, Starting Maps, Arbiter of Ash, the Fourth Ascendancy setup Lolcohol took into Arbiter of Divinity in SSF, a Level 97 version on higher-end gear, and a Min-Max version that gives up toughness in exchange for far more damage.
The damage is led by fire. In maps Explosive Grenade and Flash Grenade clear packs while Cluster Grenade deals with tanky rares; against bosses Gas Grenade leaves poison clouds for Explosive Grenade to set off.
